1 Ton, B&S Engine Mini Excavator w/ Retractable Tracks & Hyd. Thumb | KX12-CDB
Description
Compact and straightforward, the KX12-CDB is a 1-tonne mini excavator running a Briggs & Stratton engine designed for trenching, footings and landscape work.
With the hydraulic thumb fitted, the machine handles awkward material — timber, rubble, stumps — that a plain bucket would only push around. A variable-width undercarriage lets the machine get through restricted access and still work off a stable base.
Common jobs include utility trenching, foundation digging, landscape reshaping, and site clearance where lorries and larger machines cannot get in.
At around a tonne it will go through a standard side gate, tow behind a pickup on a light trailer, and work off a domestic driveway without cracking it.
Parts availability and simple mechanical layout keep maintenance within reach of an owner-operator rather than a main dealer.
