The Cub Cadet PRO Z 972SDL EFI is the ultimate commercial slope-mowing solution, designed for municipalities, roadway crews, and commercial landscapers who manage varied or hillside terrain. With dual rear wheels, weighted front rims, Synchro-Steer™ 4-wheel steering, and a self-leveling air-ride seat, it dominates slopes up to 25 degrees (46% grade) while maintaining straight-line mowing and operator comfort.
Power comes from a 38.5 HP Kawasaki FX1000V V-Twin EFI engine (999cc) paired with a commercial 16cc HTG Parker transmission. EFI delivers efficient starts, strong power under load, and reduced fuel consumption. Dual 7.45-gallon fuel tanks support all-day commercial slope mowing.
The 72-in. triple-7-gauge fabricated steel cutting deck with electro-hydraulic deck lift offers fast, precise height changes. A self-leveling air-ride seat lets operators maintain up to 15 degrees of side-to-side self-leveling with 30 degrees of swivel – dramatically reducing operator fatigue on slopes.
